Bright Futures

The Oban Lorn and the Isles MCMC (More Choices, More Chances) Partnership aims to engage and work with young people aged 13-25 (with a particular focus on 15-19yrs) in order to increase their motivation, confidence and skills to choose, and achieve positive destinations.

The wider outcome is that these young people enter into apropriate employment, education or training.

There will be a particular focus on those young people who are either disengaged or at risk of disengagement.

The partnership aspires to achieve these aims through multi-disciplinary effort, pooling resources and information to prevent problems at an early stage, to smooth transitions, to sustain engagement, and to ensure more continuous progression for young people, whether they are at school or post-school."
